A new work for jazz trumpet quintet, commissioned by Kyle for the TAMUK Trumpet Ensemble, has been composed by Erik Morales. The piece is entitled
Divertimento in Blue. It is available through moralesmusic.com.
The world premiere for the piece will be in November 2017 at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

A new work for trumpet and organ, commissioned by Kyle & Melissa, has been composed by Stanley Friedman. The piece is entitled Scatter the Darkness and is based on the folk hymn, The Family Bible.
The world premiere for the piece will be on March 11, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Germantown Presbyterian Church. It will be featured on a recital of works for trumpet and organ.
